AUSTRALIAN SINGLE SPEED NATIONALS | BOTTLES & CHAINS STEEL CITY

The Australian Single Speed Nationals (ASSNATS) is an annual celebration of fixed-gear and single-speed cycling that blends competitive riding with community, craft beer and creative chaos. The event is hosted by the Bottles & Chains Steel City Division in Newcastle, NSW. The steampunk theme honours Newcastle's steel-making heritage. Four days of programming includes social rides through the city and the Fernleigh Track, feats of strength to determine next year's host city, and one day of racing on the trails of Killingworth and Holmesville to crown the 2026 Australian King and Queen of Single Speed.
