CAPE TO CAPE

Location: WA
Date: Thursday, October 15, 2026

The Cape to Cape MTB has established itself as Australasia's most celebrated multi-day mountain biking experience, inviting riders to conquer approximately 200km of Western Australia's most captivating terrain. Starting at the historic Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and finishing four days later at Cape Naturaliste, this journey combines pristine coastal trails, national parks, private farmlands, and purpose-built mountain bike tracks in a festival atmosphere that perfectly balances riding challenge with Margaret River's renowned hospitality.

Since its humble beginnings in 2008 with just 100 riders, Cape to Cape has grown to become the region's signature cycling event, now attracting over 1,600 participants. The event's philosophy of "a ride not a race" creates a uniquely social atmosphere where rivalries are friendly and post-ride celebrations are as much a part of the experience as the trails themselves.
