HAWAIIAN RIDE FOR YOUTH

Location: WA
Date: Apr 6 - 10, 2027

The Hawaiian Ride for Youth is Western Australia's premier charity cycling event, a 4.5 day ride of roughly 700km from Albany to Perth that raises funds and awareness for youth mental health. Around 150 riders, organised into three pelotons, train for months and fundraise hard before turning that effort into real support for young people across the state.

Every kilometre backs Youth Focus, the independent not-for-profit that provides free mental health services to young Western Australians. Along the route the pelotons stop at regional high schools so riders can talk openly with students about mental health and suicide prevention, making awareness as central to the journey as the money raised. It is a demanding ride and a deeply purposeful one, welcoming seasoned cyclists and first timers alike through a structured, supported training program.
