IPSWICH 100

Location: QLD
Date: Sunday, March 29, 2026

The Ipswich 100 returns for its 27th year! Starting from the University of Southern Queensland's Ipswich campus, this beloved charity bike ride weaves through a region rich in contrasts - from historic mining heritage to modern aerospace at the RAAF Base Amberley, Australia's largest military air base.

Known as "the original and best fundraising bike ride" in the region, this event has become a cornerstone of Ipswich's active community. Riders experience three distinct routes through the spectacular Scenic Rim, recognised as one of Queensland's most picturesque cycling regions. From the demanding Imperial 100 Challenge tracking through mountain-fringed valleys to the welcoming Fun Filled 50 passing historic railways and pastoral landscapes, each route offers its own rewards.

Organised by the Brisbane West Lions Club in partnership with the Ipswich Hospital Foundation, this event has raised significant funds over its history to bring healthcare closer to home for the local community. The ride showcases why Ipswich, Queensland's oldest provincial city, has emerged as a premier cycling destination, offering a perfect blend of challenging rural roads and engaging urban trails.
