NSW/ACT STATE GRAVITY SERIES ROUND 6 DH

Location: NSW
Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025

The NSW/ACT State Gravity Series returns to one of the Hunter's most celebrated downhill tracks for Round 6, with Awaba Mountain Bike Park's iconic Monkey trail hosting a weekend of serious racing. This October double-header combines state-level competition with club pride, as HMBA crowns its 2025 Downhill Club Champion on home turf.

Dates: Saturday 11 & Sunday 12 October 2025

Location: The Monkey, Awaba Mountain Bike Park, Jenkins Rd, Freemans Waterhole NSW 2323

Event Type: Downhill racing (State Series + Club Championships)

Categories: Multiple age and skill divisions (AusCycling categories apply)

The Monkey stands as Awaba's signature downhill experience – a technical descent that tests bike handling, line choice, and commitment through varied terrain. Expect steep chutes, technical rock gardens, and high-speed sections that reward local knowledge and precise execution. The track's reputation for separating contenders from pretenders makes it an ideal venue for both state series competition and club championships.
