RIDE THE RANGES

Challenge yourself at Ride the Ranges, a premier autumn cycling event set against the stunning backdrop of Victoria's Strathbogie Ranges. This established community ride offers routes to suit every cyclist. With the quirky Euroa Village serving as both start and finish point, participants will experience some of rural Victoria's most spectacular cycling terrain while supporting local community development through the Rotary Club of Euroa.

Event proceeds support the Rotary Club of Euroa's community projects, including upgrades to local sporting facilities throughout the region.

Start Times: Staggered from 8:00 AM (130km course) to 8:45 AM (30km course)

Each course showcases the natural beauty of Victoria's North East region, with routes carefully designed to balance challenge with accessibility:

130km Ranges Challenge

The ultimate test featuring over 40km of climbing and descending through the heart of the Strathbogie Ranges. Serious Weekend Warriors will appreciate the smooth bitumen surfaces and technical descents that reward consistent training.

85km Classic Route

A challenging ride on fully sealed roads featuring over 30km in the ranges with satisfying climbs and sweeping descents, perfect for experienced riders looking for a rewarding day in the saddle.

68km Mixed Surface

This innovative course combines bitumen and gravel sections for an adventure-minded experience. With over 30km of range riding, it's specially designed to be e-bike friendly while still offering plenty of climbing challenges.

30km Recreational Route

An accessible ride on sealed roads (except for a brief 50m section under the Hume Freeway) that's perfect for families and newer cyclists wanting to experience the beauty of the region without the serious elevation.

Family Options:

  • Children under 12: Free with registered adult

  • From Melbourne: 1.5 hours via Hume Freeway (M31)
    • Take the Euroa exit and follow signs to Seven Creeks Park
  • From Albury: 2 hours via Hume Freeway (M31)
  • From Bendigo: 2 hours via Northern Highway (B75) and Murchison-Violet Town Road
  • Ample parking available at event site

By Train:

  • V/Line services operate to Euroa Station from:
    • Melbourne Southern Cross (approximately 2 hours)
    • Seymour (30 minutes)
  • Euroa Station is a short 500m ride to the event start
