Every morning of the Santos Tour Down Under, before the pros roll out, you can roll out too. The AusCycling Group Rides are a daily series of guided community rides departing from the Tour Village in Victoria Square/Tarntanyangga at 7am, giving cycling fans the chance to explore Adelaide and the surrounding Adelaide Hills before watching the world's best race past in the afternoon.

Each day offers two options: a shorter ride of roughly 28 to 53 kilometres and a longer ride of 67 to 127 kilometres. Routes change daily, threading through iconic local roads including climbs to Mt Lofty, the Willunga Epic, Nairne, and the Adelaide beachside suburbs. Rides are led by volunteer ride leaders from AusCycling-affiliated cycling clubs, and all formally entered participants are covered by AusCycling Lifestyle insurance for the duration of their ride. Entry is just $5 and includes a coffee from the Tour Village cafe before you leave.
