The Shifty Fifty series brings its bonus season finale to the newly opened Warburton MTB Park, celebrating 30 kilometres of fresh trails with a day of racing, community spirit, and the coveted chocolate block prizes. This special round won't count towards series points, making it the perfect low-pressure opportunity to experience one of Victoria's most anticipated trail networks whilst wrapping up the 2025 season in style.

Partnering with park management and the Warburton community, this event welcomes riders across all abilities with three distance options. Whether you're chasing a competitive finish on the full 50km challenge or bringing the family for the 15km Shifty Smally, the day promises quality trails, proper racing atmosphere, and the camaraderie that makes the Shifty Fifty series a favourite on the Victorian mountain bike calendar.

The Warburton MTB Park represents a significant investment in Victorian trail infrastructure, with this event offering exclusive early access to experience world-class purpose-built singletrack. eBikes are welcomed across all categories, ensuring everyone can enjoy this milestone moment for the region's cycling community.

Distance Options:

Shifty Fifty: 50km (Two loops: 27km + 21.6km)

Shifty Shorty: 27km (Single loop)

Shifty Smally: 15km (Single loop)

Elevation Gain: 900m+ (Fifty), 615m+ (Shorty)

The course showcases the new Warburton MTB Park's diverse terrain across fun, undulating trails with varied surfaces. Shifty Fifty and Shifty Shorty riders begin with the 27km first loop, mixing flowing singletrack with technical sections that highlight the park's natural landscape. Only Shifty Fifty riders continue for the second 21.6km loop, adding an extra challenge whilst exploring more of this brand-new trail network.

The Shifty Smally 15km option provides an ideal introduction to mountain bike racing, suitable for younger riders and those new to the sport. All courses benefit from clear signage and well-marked directions, with riders encouraged to familiarise themselves with course maps before racing.

Registration includes: AusCycling event day insurance coverage, timing, course marking, rider support, and post-race presentations.
