The Steadyrack Gran Fondo National Championships is the amateur centrepiece of the AusCycling Road National Championships, one of the most exciting days on the Australian road cycling calendar. Held annually in January, it gives riders of all abilities the chance to race on fully closed roads alongside the country's elite, competing for Australian Gran Fondo champion jerseys across age and gender categories.

The course is a multi-lap circuit typically set in a capital city, combining challenging climbs, technical corners and fast open sections that reward every kind of rider.
