The Mackenzie by Devold is a one-day mountain bike, gravel and e-bike event on Saturday 3 April 2027. It is based at Glenmore Station, 15 minutes from Lake Tekapo in the beautiful Mackenzie Basin of New Zealand's South Island.

Riders get exclusive race day access to private high country stations, including the Cass Valley and the shores of Lake Alexandrina, with mountain tracks, high country tarns and Mackenzie views.

The distances on offer are 92km, 70km, 40km, and 20km.

Each race starts with a 'bark off', where local shepherds' huntaway dogs bark before the riders are sent away. Café-style aid stations sit along the courses.

For non-riders, the day also includes a 30km High Country Mountain Run, which climbs Mt Joseph.

And for kids, the 4km Pup MTB ride is for the youngest riders.
