Ride Wollongong returns to the roads of the Illawarra from 29 August to 12 September 2026, transforming the city into a global hub for cycling enthusiasts. Building on the legacy of the 2022 UCI Road World Championships, this multi-day festival caters to every level of rider, from those seeking a casual family outing to competitive athletes looking to test their limits on iconic coastal climbs.

The festival serves as a celebration of the vibrant New South Wales cycling culture, fostering community connections and promoting active lifestyles. While the full schedule of individual events is still being finalised, the program traditionally includes a mix of closed-road community rides, high-intensity criteriums, and inclusive participation sessions designed to get more people on bikes.

Central to the festivities is the Lang Park Expo, located right at the heart of the finish line precinct.
