TOUR OF NEW ZEALAND

Location: NZ
Date: Apr 12 - 16, 2027

The Tour of New Zealand returns to the spectacular landscapes of the South Island from 12 April to 16 April 2027. This biennial event has cemented itself as a cornerstone of the Australasian cycling calendar, combining a professional tour atmosphere with a mission to support local New Zealand charities. Since its inception, the tour has raised more than $2.45 million for various causes.

The 2027 edition is headquartered in Queenstown, the adventure capital of the world. Over five days and five distinct stages, riders will cover approximately 400 kilometres of world-standard alpine terrain. The route is iconic, featuring the rugged beauty of Glenorchy, the challenging ascent of Coronet Peak, and the world-renowned journey through the Homer Tunnel into the heart of Milford Sound.

This event serves a broad spectrum of the cycling community. Whether you are a competitive rider racing for a podium finish in the timed sectors or an adventurer looking to complete an epic multi-day challenge with a team of friends, the tour provides a safe, fully-supported environment. Each day concludes with the legendary "peloton parties," where the community gathers to share stories from the road and celebrate the day's achievements.
