Racing Information
Hamilton Cycling Club (HCC) in Victoria runs a full annual calendar of road, track, and cyclocross racing for juniors and seniors. Their programs include a Winter Road Season, Summer Road Series, Summer Track Season, and since 2019, cyclocross events. Regular Saturday road races—such as 30 km and 10 km events on Mt Napier Rd—start at 1:30 pm. HCC also hosts major South West Series memorial races, including the T.J. Training Rides
Hamilton Cycling Club offers structured group rides on weekday mornings, providing members with opportunities to train and socialize. On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 AM, cyclists embark on the Mill Rd – Fairburns Rd loop, known as the “Tuesday and Thursday loop.” Wednesdays and Fridays also feature 6:00 AM rides, following the Hensley Park loop route. These consistent early morning sessions cater to riders seeking regular training in a group setting.
Junior Development
The club offers programmes aimed at developing young cyclists, and juniors are invited to participate in group rides and events with their own starting times.
Social Events
The club runs a Tour de France sweep each year, usually on the night of or before the first stage.
